We all love a squishmallow, right? They are so yummy when cooked, and even better when fresh! You’ll never believe how quick and easy it is to make your very own squishmallow. They even taste better when homemade. There are several ways to cook a squish and I’ll teach you two classic methods that you can use to impress your friends with this delightful cuddle food. Let’s get started.

The Midnight Classic

This simple yet classic method is one of the go-to techniques for preparing a squish. All you need are a kitchen torch, some small pots and a fork. Get your torch ready and hold it over the pots while they are simmering away. When the foam on top of the liquids starts to smoke, the squish is done. Your friends will be very grateful you served them this way as it’s an absolute gem in a cup. The only downside is that you may need an extra plate to put the finished product on, as serving in a bowl is almost impossible. However, if you are doing this method inside, you may need to add a few more minutes to the process.

The Steam-Powered Way

This is one of the easier methods for making a squish and it also utilizes a lot of your body heat. All you need are some steaming pots, a blowdryer, and a pair of tongs. Place the pots over the heatproof surface inside your kitchen, and then place the blowdryer on top of the pots. When the blowdryer begins to steam, you know it’s hot enough. Cook your squish according to the instructions on the package and then use the tongs to remove it from the blowdryer. The only downside to this method is that it can be a bit tricky to get the blowdryer exactly where you want it. So, if that’s a concern, then this may not be the best option for you.

The Charcoal-Tested And Trusted Way

This is another tried and tested approach to making a delicious squish. Simply take some charcoal briquettes and place them on a gas burner. Once the briquettes begin to smoke, add your egg and then cream to taste. You can also add some garlic, shallots, and/or chives to the mix for some extra flavor. Once the egg sofas are cooked, remove the charcoal burner from the heat and let the eggs cool before serving. This method is best if you are tight on time, as you may need to start preparing the ingredients beforehand.

There, now you know two ways to make the perfect squish. Serve them in a variety of ways, including inside an egg or inside a pastry. Your friends will love it and you will be glad you could provide them with this luxury snack. Don’t forget to get creative in the kitchen and come up with some new recipes that you and your friends can enjoy together. Bon Appetit!
