There are many situations where you may need to remove vaseline from your hair, but did you know that it wasn’t invented to make your hair look beautiful? When used in cosmetic products, vaseline can end up being the culprit behind many skin allergies and rashes. Because of this, if you find that your skin is not tolerating the vaseline, it may not be the best choice for you. However, if you’re still using it, maybe it’s time to try a different option.

Goat Cheese And Honey

This is one of my favorite quick and easy ways to nourish my hair. I like to use it as a protective style treatment, as it can help reduce breakage. To apply it, simply scrunch wet hair with a little dry shampoo and then spread the goat cheese around your hair. Let it sit for five minutes before brushing or drying your hair. The combination of the cheese and the honey is incredibly nourishing, and it doesn’t hurt that the brush strokes look like they’re winding your hair.

Honey is a natural humectant, which attracts and retains moisture. When used in combination with goat cheese, it can double the holding capacity of the moisture. Plus, the warmth of the honey can soften the stiffness of the cheese, making it easier to shape and brush through your hair. If you find that your hair is lacking shape and volume, try this treatment as it can help improve the situation.

Vaseline And Olive Oil

I like to think of this treatment as my ‘go-to’ when I’m trying to create soft, shiny curls. Similar to the previous treatment, this one also uses two of my favorite ingredients: olive oil and vaseline. If you already use olive oil to massage your skin, you can take it a step further and use it to twist and treat your hair as well. You’ll need to apply a small amount to your palms and gently massage your hair, taking particular care in the areas where the curls are ending. You can use the oil to help undo any kinks or twists that may have occurred from sleeping on your back or drinking alcohol.

After you’ve completed your hair treatment, you can use the olive oil to wash the vaseline from your hands, or use a tissue to remove the last bits. If you want, you can even add a touch of the oil to your fingertips and then rub your hair, making it easier for the olive oil to penetrate. I like to think of this treatment as a ‘twofer’ because not only are you getting good hair care, but you’re also using two of my all time favorite ingredients!

Nail Polish And Vaseline

Did you know that nail polish can be used to remove vaseline from your hair? I didn’t believe it either, but it’s true. The trick is, once you’ve applied the nail polish, to let it dry for a minute or two before starting to pull it off. This will help prevent the polish from smearing and chipping as you pull. When using this treatment, make sure your hair is clean before applying the polish. If there are any pieces of fluff or hay in your hair, they could end up making the polish look less intense because it will blend into the hair more effectively.

After you’ve completed your nail polish treatment, be sure to use a hair powder or spray to keep your hair looking powdery and fluffy. This is especially important if you’re planning on wearing a swimsuit at the beach or planning on washing your hair frequently in the summer.

If you’d like an even more intensive treatment, you can spray your hair with a mixture of water and milk, wait for the milk to soak in, and then wash your hair with the water. This will help remove all of the oils and grime from your hair and allow it to feel even cleaner between washing sessions.

Vaseline And Conditioner

Did you know that you can use vaseline and conditioner together to make your hair look shinier and healthier? The combination of the two is known as ‘double-duty’ or ‘quadruple-duty’ because it helps improve the overall texture and appearance of your hair. Simply apply a small amount to your palms, scrunch wet hair with a little conditioner, and then massage your hair for a minute or two. Be careful not to add more than what is recommended, as too much conditioner may cause your hair to slip and slide around on the head, making it more difficult to brush through. This treatment is especially useful for those suffering from dry, brittle hair, among other things.

Vaseline And Sea Spray

Did you know that you can use vaseline and sea spray together to make your hair look healthier and shinier? The sea spray provides a small protective coating to help shield your hair from the effects of the sun and the heat. It can also help improve the overall texture of your hair by adding more volume. Simply apply a small amount to your palms, scrunch wet hair with a little vaseline, and then use your fingers to work the spray into your hair. Remember to work slowly and gently, making sure to cover every strand and section of hair. When using this treatment, be careful not to add more than what is recommended, as too much spray may cause your hair to weigh more, making you feel like you’re drowning in your own sweat. You can even take a small pastry and dip it in the sea spray for added texture and volume. Let your hair dry naturally or use a little more spray to get the look you desire. This treatment is great for those suffering from dry, damaged hair, as it adds more volume and texture, improving the overall look of your hair.

Cream Of Tartar And Vaseline

This is a really easy way to add a little more protein to your hair. Simply apply a small amount of cream of tartar to your palms, and then scrunch wet hair with a little bit of vaseline. You can use this treatment every once in a while to add more texture and volume to your hair. Make sure when applying the cream of tartar that your hair is completely dry, as wet hair will likely cause the cream to run and plug your hair before you even start applying it. This is a great option for those suffering from dry, brittle hair, as it adds more texture and volume to your hair, as well as helps improve the overall appearance of your hair.

Vaseline And Caffeine

Did you know that you can use vaseline and caffeine together to make your hair look healthier and shinier? The caffeine will help clean out your hair, making it easier for the oils to absorb into your strands. When using this treatment, be careful not to add more than what is recommended, as too much caffeine may cause you to jitter and shake, making it difficult to work with. You can use this treatment every other day or every third day to make your hair look more radiant. Massage your hair after each application to help improve the overall texture and appearance of your hair.

Vaseline And Panthenol

Did you know that you can use vaseline and panthenol together to make your hair look healthier and shinier? This is a great option for those suffering from dry, damaged hair, as it helps create a protective coating for your hair, making it less likely to get wet and breakage. When using this treatment, make sure your hair is completely dry before applying the vaseline, as wet hair will likely cause the oils to run and plug your hair before you start applying the cream. If you have long hair, you can even use a little bit of tape to hold it in place while you work the cream into your hair. This is a great option for those who want to add more texture and volume to their hair, as well as those who want to make their hair look more radiant. Remember to massage your hair after each application to help improve the overall texture and appearance of your hair.

Vaseline, Alcohol, And Drying Shampoo

Did you know that you can use vaseline, alcohol, and drying shampoo together to make your hair look healthier and shinier? This is one of my favorite quick and easy ways to detangle and add more volume to my hair. To apply it, simply scrunch wet hair with a little bit of alcohol and then a generous amount of vaseline. Depending on how long your hair is, you may need to do this every few months to keep your hair looking healthy and shiny. Use this treatment in combination with other methods, such as a protein treatment or a curl activator, to make your hair look even more fabulous!
